Anybody else have this issue before?
Looks like I'm going to have to rase the motor to clear it. Ugh...

maybe the wrong thickness rubber isolators , one looks much thinner than the other .

Got it! I will switch it out tomorrow morning.
Its installed per the instructions. But i have heard people have had issues with the trans-dapt mounts so im open to any fix..

I used the trans adapt stuff on my slant 6 to V8 swap. They fit great with my power steering, Doug's headers, and larger torsion bars. You've surely just got them on the wrong way.

So I can't really swap the metal mounts.
I think my best bet will be swithcing the isolator mounts. Or just the driverside to a thicker mount and maybe a shim..

Although it looks as if i installed the mounts correctly

According to the pic you did what they say. I have never used aftermarket mounts just stock so I am not able to help you.

Update: rubber sizes swpped thin on passenger side and think on drivers. Look good, headers still fit both sides, steering box and adaptors have room.
Look like I'm good to go. Thanks again everybody.

That looks alot better but the stud needs to stick through the metal mount before putting the nut and washer on. The way it looks is like only the washer sits on the metal and that will not hold it.

lol It looks that way in the picture, the nut is loose so I could get the mounts settled before I tightened
It.. The gap between the two does make it look wrong. ;-)
