Curious if anyone has made a run/break-in stand, I'm looking for options. Im making this stand now, for a 360 I'm building for my 69 Dart. Everything is adjustible the motor mounts adjust, the only thing thats specific is the holes for the bellhousing I have unistrut with spring nuts

for the rad. support so it will work for any motor, all I have left is to put together the control panel.

Looking good there DartSwinger

You can look through my post here in

3 pages of posts of how I built my run stand, if you care to look in on it.

Much nicer than mine. I built my junker out of old water pipe I had here.

That works too, so nice having the engines running on a stand to tune and break in the cams.

Any little issues turn up, so much easier to fix them with the engines out of the cars. Oil, water leaks, change out the valve springs after break in, etc . . Pop in a different distributor.

A circle track buddy down here made one starting with a heavy duty 'shopping cart' and swapped in locking casters.
Worked fine ... for small block Chevys
