not sure if im in the right forum but regardless my question is... Anyone that would know what size motor comes in a 1965 chrysler 300 4dr

is it a SB or BB? how many ci? and to top it all off do you think i can fit it in a 66' A-body? :thumblef:

It could be a number of big blocks. 361 -383 etc...I doubt a small block.
In a "A" body huh? Yea, but fenderwell headers may be the only real option out there.
(Best wait on a been there done that guy)
 
383-440 is what i have found them to have.. i wonder tho .. i wonder.. and fender-headers.. bah.. no worries mate. if i can fit it in there.. then its going and ill do what need be
 
Well then, I guess your going to have a jolley old time with that future monster. Good year for the engine too. Good compresion in there. It'll respond nicley.

and I can tell you all about the my 65 Chrysler 300 4dr big block car.I can send some pics of mine if you wish.For this year car and model,the car had a 383 as a standard motor with the option of the 413,Mrmopartech
 
Thank you very much mrmopar, the car i havent bought as of yet. im thinking about it. i just want the motor and tranny.. and if it has a 8 3/4 id like that too.. bu the rest of the car would be useless.. so it was all a debate on what size motor it has.. tomorrow i will go and see the car again and fire it up.. and take some pictures i guess.. i like pictures.. just like everyone else i can safely assume!
