Once the engine is warmed up to its normal temperature, it becomes very vurnerable to stalling at low rpms, usually when I'm slowing down for a stop.

I do not understand the alternator gauge that well and what its for, what does the D and C stand for? I dont even think it is related to the engine stalling at low rpms right? (btw, when I rev the engine the alternator gauge goes up to C then back down.)

Anyhow, so ive herd it could be the choke ( where is the choke? is it that round dish on the bottom of the ignition cap or the smaller dish on the carb? How can I test to fix this?)

Could it be the carb isnt tuned right? Maybe I "accidentally" twisted a few screws? lol

Well hope I fix this,

I also need fix the fuel gauge by grounding the tank somehow, havnt figured out what and how exactly to do this, I know the rain makes it work lol

"D" is discharge meaning the engine is not idling fast enough for the alternator to charge. "C" means it's doing just fine. if it's on the "D" side at idle and goes to the "C" side when it's rev'd up a little everything is ok, it's when it doesn't go to the "C" side that somethng is wrong with either the alternator or regulator. it's sounds as thought yuo may not have enough timing on the motor at idle causing it to quit running when you come to a stop. try advancing the timing a few degrees to help it. or if it's idling to slow screw in the fast idle screw a turn or two. idling at about 750rpm's is good.
