If you plan on pulling the crank, remove the flex plate/flywheel first. I use the two lower through holes in the block down by the oil pan rail.....one on each side....for the lower part of the adapter, and the two thread-in bolt holes at the top of the block for the other anchor points. I offset the center of the adapter as high as I can get it to keep the weight centered as much as possible for rotating the assembly around without it flopping. You'll probably have to find some longer bolts than what you have in the car. Just get some good quality ones (I.E. grade 8, and washers too) as you don't want those babies breaking on you!
