Epoxy garage flooring

New construction, putting in an epoxy floor. Anyone know anything about polyurea? Regular epoxy flooring is supposed to be put on at something like 60F or above. This will go on in December in Wi. Even though it’s a heated garage guys we’re concerned about temps along the edges. One guy, been in business for 20 years said he would do it. The polyurea can be put on at -30F. Pros and cons to each. Anyone have the polyurea?

I know four people who had the Polyurea garage floor coating with black and gray chips installed three years ago. Still looks great and they have no complaints. They park their daily driver cars in the garages. They are supposed to wear better than the epoxy coatings. I want to have it done once I clear out my garage.

I've had it for a year and it's great. The polyurea has a slightly rubbery feel compared to epoxy, wrenches don't bounce quite as much. Has a little bit of insulating quality, floor doesn't feel as cold in the winter. Very easy to keep clean.

Wow. That looks good. Do these coatings fill in the cracks and kinda hide them? I see that you have a decent sized crack, I have some in my slab like that.

My concrete friend has a saying: “concrete does 2 things...it turns grey, and cracks” LOL.

That crack is pretty big. They did grind it down and patch it perfectly but didn't guarantee it. Because it does move every winter. But now it's only between 1/8" and 1/4" depending on the season. Smaller cracks they fix up nice. It was galled really bad too and they patched that first.
