estimate hp please

Just trying to get an idea where we might be at.

I have a 71 360 30 thou over with very low milage, wiend stealth dp manifold, j heads with 2.02 valves, cr9.5, cam lift @50 in464= ex 436, dur @50 on the cam card says in 212.6, ex 225.2
carb would be a holley 650 vac maybe 750 vac. Any guesses to possible hp, tq

Also I have have a second cam as well which is .470 lift in & ex@50 dur @50 232

all cam lifts are with 1.5 rocker ratio

im guessing between 295hp and 320hp. that is with headers and an ideal tune.

Dont think about the numbers. Just put it in and drive it. Its a 360. Its a Mopar 360. It will be Ok! ....... Unless its going into tow truck,then it will just be, ok.

Yep, I'm with you on that estimate.

With the 232 480 cam it would be in the 350 range

Is this a fun car or a driver? I like your 2nd cam choice better if it's a fun car.

I'd guess high 2's to 300hp with your initial thought's. How it performs will depend on your gearing & converter, if it's a auto trans?

id run the bigger can and about a 2500- 2800 stall and you will love it and a great driver
