Has Anybody Tried Evapo-rust To Clean Rust From Neglected
Engine Parts Yet?it Sounds Too Good To Be True.fresh Engine
Got Rain Water On It From Leaky Roof.need To Clean It Without
(hopefully)disturbing The Crosshatch Too Much._

I've used it but the part generally needs to soak in it. Otherwise, Navel Jelly might do the trick for you.

i've tried the stuff, it works great but as stated above it should soak in it. another suggestion might be steel wool, just be careful not to get too much debris in the engine.

I bought a gallon of evaporust on ebay to try out. I must have gotten a bad jug, because about all it does is make the parts wet. I soaked some small parts and bolts for days and not much to brag about. But others here have had good results soaking parts.
