I am... A while back I put the '71 Duster Grille and all the associated parts for my '74 Duster in the trunk of my '71 Demon and closed the trunk lid.

Thought I'd pull them out and start cleaning the stuff so I could install it on my '74, pulled the keys for the Demon out of my pocket and the trunk won't open... Awww Crap... I replaced the Tail Panel and forgot to install the original lock cylinder :eek:ops:

The seat is out of the car, but there's a plate of metal blocking my path into the trunk (which is filled with parts), Soo I'm trying my half a million chrysler keys and lock pick set, hoping I can get the trunk open :D

i take a broom handle into there, and pop the slip clip that holds the timbler in, then just go to back of car, pull it out, and insert screwdriver!

i have had great success with various different chrysler keys working in locks that they were not meant for. especially if they are worn out. a little jiggle and turning at the same time can work nice. the broom stick method works great too.

That's what I've been trying, because I've noticed the same thing too. No luck on this one, that lock must have very little wear to it.

I'll try the broomstick, I think i might be able to snake one through the trunk with some luck
