exaust leak

I have a slant six in my Duster and it seems no matter how much I tighten it,it still leaks between the exaust pipe(collector) and the exaust manifold.I have a new gasket on it.Should I put a thicker gasket?maybe stack 2 gaskets?thanks

I have used two gaskets and it worked. For $2 it was a cheap fix. That or maybe try heating the tube up good and red and tighten it down onto the exhaust manifold (without a gasket) to line things up. Have you ever changed the manifold? I have read that some of the exhaust manifolds had a different angle on the surface that mounts the exhaust pipe.

Try a little Permatex ultra copper...no more leaks!

Are you sure it is not leaking around the heat riser
