exhaust cut-out question???

Do they work????? How much exhaust still goes out the back?? thinking of putting them in my duster but don't want to spend the $$$$ if they just let some of the exhaust out.... I have heard to spend the extra cash on
'Good" ones such as DOUG's or race ready---Thanks guy's Steve

i have the manual ones on my duster dual exhaust all i do is unbolt three bolts on each side and take the plate off. yes they work and are loud something you would want for car shows once you take that plate off its open headers. i would get some electronic ones all you do is flip a switch lol but i dont think it matters about thr brand just look at summitracing....

I am doing it for my duster, I got a set of Jegs cutouts and I found these on Ebay for $242.50 Can't wait to pull up to a new Chebbie or Rustang and uncork these things.......

I made my own by running a 21/2 pipe straight out the exhaust to under the doors and using a collector on the end with a stainless steel plate to cover it. all I do is remove three 9/16 nuts and it all open. I am often asked what are those things under your doors and I am fast to show them. sounds good and is easy to do. I fear things I have no control over malfunctions.
