Looking for paint to use on my exhaust manifolds. Criteria are inexpensive, spray can, and descent looks. For those that have used Calyx, how often do you have to touch it up. I also have access to the powder coat oven at work, could a person paint the manifolds then run them through the oven (thinking it's 400 degrees or so)to bake the paint? I have never had much luck with high temp grill paints, but it could have been prep issues.

Eastwoods manifold paint and VHT Flameproof coating both have worked well for me in the past.

I agree.. I know a few guys using that stuff with great results. Best part is if it needs to be touched up its can be done easily.

Eastwood's silver manifold paint looks great ... at first. Even with perfect prep, it bubbled, flaked and fell off the upright exhaust pipe on our old tractor a couple months after it was done.

POR-15 Exhaust Manifold paint works well, but is a brush on product. Has a nice cast iron look once it cures.
