Exhaust manifold question

I have a 72 Dart that I am going to be putting a 340 into. I came across a set of manifolds casting numbers 2863553(drivers side) and 3418623(passenger side). Anybody out there know if these are the good HP manifolds and secondly will they work on my application. I believe they were off an E-body with a 340. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

want the honest answer...even if they are NOT the "good"(and i use that term LOOSELY) HP manifolds there is only about a 2-3 HP difference between the regular old "log" manifolds and the HP manifolds.

The (3418623 ) is off a dart and the ( 2863553 ) is off a Challenger ? I think

Don't see why they wouldn't work .... Good Luck !!!

The 3418623 is a 1970 340 exhaust manifold for the driver side, (sweet find) not sure what the other is. It will work on your 72 Dart. Keith.

Usage:1968-70 Baracuda, Dart with 340-ci
1970-71 Duster with 340-ci and 1970 Challenger.

Part # 3418623
Side: Passenger
Usage:1971-73 Barracuda,Challenger,Dart,Duster,Charger,and Road Runner with 340-ci 1971-73 Fury,Polara, and Monaco with 360-ci without California emmisions.

The 2863553 is the better performer of the two.
