Its been 16 years and 4 valiants...always wondering what was the story behind this very nice and simple logo..any idea ?

I know it is called the "red and blue arrowhead" but don't know the reason it was designed that way...
 
I’m taking a guess here so don’t freak out.
Sometimes logos are inspired by other things like the created was a comic book fan from the 30’s.
Prince Valiant. Again just a guess but colors match and so kinda does the “V”- kinda.

Not a bad theory. Better than anything I had?
 
I'm goin the simple route. It's a fancy "V" for Valiant.
 
Not bad not bad...its been sticking with me and im still curious ahahahah ps : **the 65 was a rebadged canadian "valiant" with the red/blue arrow! Yes its a 65 dart ! They Changed the logos from the rolling quality control in Ontario !

May have something to do with this -Quote "the Valiant boasted a radical design that continued Exner's "Forward Look" styling with "sleek, crisp lines which flow forward in a dart or wedge shape". Unquote
