I'm really starting to imagine me getting "towed in" on jet ski right up to the side of a river barge on the Ohio!!!!:tard:

I know there has to be some members closer to water that might have a board or two laying around.

Unbelieveable!

I'm even in Indiana!!
Our son and I even surfed Indiana's north shore!!
My son actually did alot better than me there. The waves were evenly spaced and really too close together for me to get it there. But the sons 8' board was really doing pretty good in Lake Michigan! the waves there are completely driven by winds.

I AM really wierd.
Just like everyone says......:scratch:

I guess I need to re-evaluate my priorities.
All I've been thinking about lately is how in the heck am I gonna get that board into or on top of our vert Lebarron! If I figure that out, I'm off to Myrtle!
ABB will wonder where I went! I'm expecting a mid life emergency run to the ocean SOON!!!!:thumbup:

Next to ABB, our son, and Baby, my surfboard and surfing are my favorite things.
Maybe the boy can get a couple days off. We could take his pick up, the 2 boards and gas money and take off, hey! Heck with reservations, I'll sleep in the truck bed under the tonnaue cover!
If he don't want to go, I could put Baby on FOTO and the board could go on board racks on top of Baby with Baby on FOTO's back. It would only be like $1000.00 for gas LMAO!!

I'm such a fish out of water.
I haven't been in like 3-4 years and I'm starting to freak out a little right now.
Sorry, I'll try not to post anything surfing again. It must just be too weird for FABO, and I didn't think that was possible being Mopars and all! LOL!!
1 out of 20,000. I would have thought the normal surfer to non- surfer ratio was more like 1 out of 1000!:scratch:

Although, I am like 1 of only 2 people in our town who own surfboards and ride em!

I really thought with eveything I had in common with FABO members there would be a few more surfers out there!:toothy1:

I remember watching a friend surf when I was about 14 years old and gave it a try John :happy10:
I was in Plant city Florida,Strawberry season :clock:.
I road with him and two girls ( older then me yumm) and enjoyed the ocean and bikini's He had two boards and a very cool black ford van.
When we got there he had me carry the big board and he showed me how to get my speed up and then get in a squatted position and lean away from a pear that was close buy and after about three attempts I got all the way up on my feet :headbang: after I learned I was to far forward on the board :sad1:.
It was fun, But then a friend of his came and took over the big board and I watched from the shore with the girls :wink::wink: 14 years old was the new 21 back then
My one and only time to try it, waves was no more then 6' tall but I can see where this would be allot of fun. The guys did not mind me rubbing sun lotion on there ladies :heart: Now that I think about it :idea1: that was the first time I enjoyed a J,number,dooby :scratch:
