What are others using to replace the fabric covering on the door remote latch rods? Pictures from my '65 are shown, I believe these are for eliminating rod rattle. Any place sell these, or any good suggestions for replacements?

When I disassembled my CA-built 65 Dart wagon, none of the doors showed any sign of anything like is being described. Neither did either of my 2 door sedan doors I got from the junkyard. So I didn’t aadd anything upon reassembly. I suppose I could since I can still get to the rods

Thanks for the link. DMT is dong a great job with a wide range of products for our cars.

they needed after warranty period? Not really, but when customers buy a new car they don't want it to rattle on the drive home.

Figures. I just put in an order with DMT, it's arriving today. I did not see it listed on their site when I searched by 64-65 Barracuda, although it does look different that what is there, maybe that's why it didn't come up. I'll hold off ordering until I determine what else I may need.

This company and its owner are great to do business with.

Anything I could get from them when I was restoring my 68 Barracuda, I bought as the quality and fit was correct and the prices reasonable.

Also, everything was properly packaged and arrived on time.

Couldn't agree more. I spoke with the owner, James Fillmore, last week. A very knowledgeable guy and committed to quality. He's putting in long hours to keep up, and has state of the art equipment to maintain that can be very expensive to repair when it goes down. I buy all I can from him.
