Or how to fit a new style (Bosch 90 amp) alternator on your LA block. I made this bracket but it won't work if you're using a mechanical fuel pump. The belt alignment has never been better. It's sturdy as hell and I made it out of four parts I had laying around last Friday night.

1. A piece of 1/4" plate I cut out of my old bent up rear bumper

2. The piston rod out my old Monroe shocks

3. An old alternator spacer

4. A piece of the original bottom bracket

This was built for my truck, but I don't see any reason why this could not be applied to an early 70's A body. But then again, I could be wrong. lol! Hope this helps someone.
