Factory Map Light (2587074) Installation Instructions

Attached below is a scan of the factory instructions for installing the map light (2587074) on early A-Body cars. The wire that goes to the door switch is yellow. The wire that goes to the cigar lighter is red. The power wire for the map light is pink. The bulb used is #90.

Instructions also include necessary modifications for Valiant models not equipped with a cigar lighter.

Wicked cool- I just redid mine as I have the dash out detailing it. Mine was factory with a factory dash cigar lighter right near it- looks like a round tube bolted to the bottom of the dash, plus mine has a cigar lighter assembly in the center console ashtray. My car has 4 ashtrays and no cup holders- priorities.
