Just heard about this one late last night!!

A 1974 Dodge Dart 2 door 318 auto, air, ps pb, rear defog, etc loaded, original 37,782 miles, owned locally, little old lady!!!

dk copper looks like with light tan vinyl top, light tan interior in mint condoition.

Said serious calls only. They don't even have a clue as to how serious someone can be about Darts!! LOL!!!

I'm calling this morning and asking where it is for viewing immediately! Not how much is it!!!! I'll worry about that later!!! HAHA!!! I'm the mad Darter!!!:cheers:

Ok guys before we go this morning, I need some help.

Give me a price range, for your area, what you guys think it's worth. I want FABO involved here so please give me your advise ASAP this morning.

Then me, BOF and FABO will be off to see this minty 74!!

I'd look her straight in the face and say "I have no idea what it's worth, but would you take $3,000 (Or what ever) for the car, I'm looking for a future father and son project that won't break my wallet like an expensive Challenger or Road Runner, something nice we can drive and enjoy."

Than, your going to be off and running on the barrgining table.

The little old lady may have tried to trade it in to upgrade to a newer car?Which she was probably offered $500 if that?I would go in with a offer of $1500 to start.It wouldn,t hurt.Sounds nice,just hope she didn,t park in a garage.You know how old ladys park in garages,sideswiping the door frames LOL.Good luck!

I appreciate and that was the price I had in mind too.

Not to waste anymore of anyones time this morning I wanted to let everyone know. I had also posted this in the CAR HUNT thread me and BOF got going on too. I was desperate this morning for opinions due to that early I thought I wold grab $4K and be there at 8AM. That's not what happened.

Further interesting and of course weird facts have come up and I already banged them in on that thread, sorry.

Long short, Hit CAR HUNT! thread for full length versin of strange story or here's readers digest:

I wouldn't make an offer without seeing, not fair to her or me, and I wouldn't want to insult.
I asked later (after other strang facts came up about family) what it would take for me and ABB to adopt.
She said $10K! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told her it was very nice to talk with her and good luck!

Appointment Wed. night for viewing. (Like I said read the long version, life is totally messed up!)
