I’m a new member, I am a collector, owner, appraiser. … and have been in the auto machinist trade for 40 years rebuilding engines and related…. I am helping a friend restore a 54 FC1D pickup. This was a western vehicle that was never licensed for road and a rust free solid find. Between the headlight and parking lights there are two mounting holes drilled for either trim or emblems. Is there anyone that can tell me what went there and or where can be found.. thanks in advance for replies. Skm.

No idea but photos would help those who might. Must be an incredibly rare rig to be low rust and yet bounced around off road on, a farm?

Welcome aboard from a fellow Ontarian! :canada: Best to post pics of what you're talking about. 70 yr old vehicle so a visual would be helpful.
You can also try Nigel at National Moparts.

I don’t have a pic. Three small horizontal chrome bars seemed to link the headlights and parking lamps, so the book says

I do have a pic but having a hard time trying to PM you. It must be a low option, most pics don’t have it

You will have to post it here. No photos in pm's unless you are a Gold member.
