Ok guys I know I need 12v coil to bypass ballast resistor but no where I can find if PS20 Fast coil I bought from summit can tell me if it’s good for 12v applications or only for resistant coil?

Was the coil part number looked up, based on year, model, and make? If so, like many parts, it would be more specific ( I would assume) to that application.

That is probably the old Crane PS20 coil. The original Crane coil came with a ballast res & it needs one. A Chrysler 0.5 ohm res can be used with it.

So any 0.5 ohms res will work and I ranthe car for hour of driving and worked fine I have proper pertronix coil ordered.. just don’t want to breakdown Otw to show weekend

Summit sold me pertronix distributor and this fast coil 730-0020 and it did come with ballast res but some guys say it’s used on some applications?? Going give summit call today

Yes, that part number IS the Crane coil, same PN in my Crane catalog.

The info I gave you in post #3 was from the instruction sheet supplied with the coil.
