Fastback pillar (dome) lights

I have a 69 Barracuda fastback, while chasing a ground in the brake light circuit I looked for how to disassemble the pillar lights and found nothing.
Finally my son-in-law and I figured out how they come apart. Here are a few pictures to help if you need to work on them. The pink wire is hot all the time and is my problem, somewhere it is grounded and blows the 20a fuse. I have the laminated color coded poster but the problem still eludes me.
If you have any suggestions, I am all ears.

Read thru this link, I redid our complete harness in our 67 FB
MH sell the new bulb holders, $10 each. Well worth the investment. Also change to led to minimize heat.

Did you check you door light switch or dash light switch/, both control those lights
