Feeler thread full 4.7 OHC engine with harness and computer

I have a friend that just purchased a total at work and it has a good 4.7 Durango engine with complete harness/pcm, accesories, trans, ignition switch and dash harness, body control module and all needed stuff to drop into a car. Wondering if anyone would be interested in this stuff for their a-body? Engine has 100k on it but runs strong and pulls this thing like a beast, however it is 4X4 so the trans might need to be swapped out for a 2wd unit or modified to work without the transfer case. I'm thinking this stuff is worth $1900 considering the engine alone at a bone yard is $1500 but let me know what it's worth to you. Engine is located in Schiller Park Illinois and I can ship it but freight shipping can get pricey so I prefer local pick-up.

you may get someone needing one of these engines, but to buy to put in a car, it is a long shot, as with 100k on it, they are not known to go much longer. they were a problem motor, as others say. i had one in a jepp g.c and it haules butt.

alot would rather go with the hemi swap.

and the reason why they are so exspensive at the junkyard is because most of them did not hold up to 100k!. there are some mebers on here with them in their trucks, with good luck so far, but most were throw-away engines! aka....boat anchor
