Anyone have issues with AMD 71 Demon fenders fitting? I have heard the gaps are not good and body lines off
Listen to him. The AMD panels I have used have been EXCELLENT! You won't find any better. Go with them. I would bet that at the very worst, any misalignment is something you can easily tweak yourself.AMD is about the best there is out there, so your alternatives are pretty much "0".
I realize that it's not any help, but the fit and gaps were never that good on these things even from the factory. It takes quite a bit of work to get them even close to what you would consider acceptable, even with NOS parts if you can find them.
and better than no parts at all.Listen to him. The AMD panels I have used have been EXCELLENT! You won't find any better. Go with them. I would bet that at the very worst, any misalignment is something you can easily tweak yourself.
And I have something to say about NOS parts. Many people don't know this, but a lot of NOS body panel parts were ordered from Chrysler back in the day and returned because they fit poorly. Then they sat on a shelf somewhere gathering dust for a zillion years until someone looking to sell them at a profit buys them. I have bought a few NOS parts that weren't exactly the cat's meow but better than Chinesium junk.
where in Indiana are you? I have a pair of fenders from AMD that I couldn't use because of poor fitment. You're more than welcome to try them to see if they will fit your project. I had planned to whip them into submission eventually then offer them for sale but I havent gotten into it yet.Anyone have issues with AMD 71 Demon fenders fitting?
