Is there a difference from early a body headers to say my 72 swinger fenderwell headers? If so what is the problem with early a fenderwell headers in a newer a body?

I qould think the early abody is narrower in front?try to install c what happens.

I'm in the middle of this right now with a 440 in my 65 Dart. I'm using hooker super comps with a 2" primary and 3 1/2" collector. They don't fit. I can use the 3,4,5,and 6 primaries after a little heat and bending. The collectors wedge into the rocker panels on an angle. I have to make the 1,2,7,and 8's. A low deck may work, but not so much an RB.

Yup, narrower and the floor sits up higher in the rocker panel area.
