got me new panels, 2 fenders and hood..........took moulding off old, should save few lbs...............

Sweet! I am wanting to get some glass parts for my Duster. Can you weigh your stock fenders and the new glass ones and tell me how much lighter they are? I would sure apreciate that.
 
cost me $1000 for lot, happy to weigh, i went 440ci so im trying to cut lbs wherever i can! heres reason had new fiberglass ones made lol

Do you have pics of the reverse sides? I am curious about how the original framing (strengthening) was achieved.
 
Yep did the same thing,but mine is a 400 and the glass is one piece tilt nose. You saved around 100 lbs would be my guess. The stock hood is pretty heavy as is all the latching mech,springs etc. Is it a pin on or a bolt on hood?
 
hello all, be a bolt on with 4 bonnet pins, weighed original hood today<less cast inserts>27.5kg so over 30 in total, didnt weigh new one, will tomorrow along with photos of inner fenders etc, reakon new hood 5 to 7 kg max?
