Fiberglassing

I dunno if any you guys listen to a podcast called ToolMonger but in some past episodes they talked about a console for a Yukon or something, that they fabricated out of fiberglass. After hearing them talk about it I am kinda interested in it for modifing my dash. Anyone here ever played around with fabricating pieces out of fiberglass? I would be interested in hearing others opinions or experiences or horror stories about it!

I've seen it done, doesn't seem too hard, just make sure your mold that you make fits nicely where the dask will sit, or you will just end up with a big headache.
