You guys by now know I don’t put a lot of stock or effort into suck azz Edelbrock and Speedmaster type of head’s exhaust flow numbers. Morgan told me and reconfirmed the proper shape but insisted on hitting 325 fps airspeed in the port. And my stuff seems to work so I left it at that. Airflow was in that area and the port was quiet. So I had a little extra time and tried a few things but most of my efforts were on the valve job. Airspeed jumped bigtime hitting 258 fps. Only 212cfm at .700 but man did it like my 2 inch pipe jumping nicely to 231cfm. I think this head will like this exhaust port. It’s been a long time since I tested a stock exhaust port but that noisy sucker couldn’t hit 250 fps if I remember correctly.
