Finally, got my hood paint right

It only took three tries :banghead: , but I finally got the finish I wanted. First try was too flat, second try was too glossy.

What do you think? Does this look decent? I wanted the hood chrome on the hood, but since it's fiberglass, I had to epoxy it on

LOL, I'm not much of a photog.

I'm thinking about adding some "340fourbarrel" sripts on the scoop, like the 70-74 Challenger had. Any opinions on that?

Since its a Six Pack hood maybe do the 340 four barrel like the Six Pack on the 69 1/2 Super Bee's

It looks great Bill , as for the call-outs give challengergary a call he can do em in vinyl for you at a reasonable price and if you decide down the road you don't like em then they can be removed , I think a flat black ghost call out would look cool

What paint did you end up going with.

I used matte black and matte clear.

I thought about that, but thought it might be too gaudy...... but I never thought of "ghost" callouts :-k interesting
