Spent the last couple years parts hunting and asking questions trying to get back to racing after a 5 yr hiatus.Started 4 times to build a drag car in that time and finally finished one 70 duster very pleased with performance 2nd pass after a easy shake down run of 10.60 went to [email protected] but then the trans started going south but hey what can you expect for a stock trans with a manual valve body found forward clutch burnt up I now have it back together hopefully will hold up for 1 more race and over winter Ill build a good trans for it ( kinda shot my budget for time being) and maybe get rid of my edelbrock performer heads for some 440-1 then should be a very solid 9 sec performer.Like to thank all the wonderfull people I bought parts from, sold parts to and provided info at times when I needed it on this site. Dan

wow very nice car. i really want to get a 71 duster my self to build. but i might of found a 73. so could you tell me what size engine etc you have in the car? very nice times for your frist time out.thanks Mopar65

Thank you Sgt Miller and thank you for your service also. Low deck 512 pump gas 11.3-1 with edel performer heads flat tappet solid lifter 640 lift 277@50 duration 4.88 gears and about 5400 stall.Have lots of room to improve but biggest bang will be heads and with that I can bump compression to 13-1 and probebly switch to e 85

Nice car, nice numbers.I am guessing you reworked the heads some.
