For many years, I have been standing up for Mark’s crazy antics on Graveyard Cars. As long as the car working and Mopar knowledge teaching content was good, I put up with his antics. The latest shows I have watched have been mostly all crazy antics with virtually no car working being done and no Mopar knowledge being taught. I watched that show for years to watch the guys work on the cars, and to learn about Mopars. I just can’t watch it any longer.

I watched a preview of season 20. Mark was talking to his shrink. Waste of time. They sectioned two cars together to save a 70 gTx, and installed Wilwood brakes on a 'cuda.. Even the tech stuff is a clown show though. I have to be in the mood for it.

Isn't he (Mark) a Producer of the show, or at least something similar to that? The reason I bring this up is because if this is indeed true, nothing is going to change, as Mark seems to think all of his antics are "cute", or funny.

At the beginning of that show I was blown-away by his encyclopedic-like knowledge, but now he just comes off as little more than a fool, in my opinion.

His show has been nothing but drama for years. I was surprised that roadworthy rescue has a new season on motortrend it's on Wednesday on channel 281 directv.

I couldnt agree more, he makes himself look like a huge idiot, regardless of his Mopar knowledge. And the way he treats his people like idiots, if true, makes him a truly despicable boss. If I was in Will the painters position, I would have knocked Worman on his *** years ago and quit.

It seems to run in cycles for me. There are some episodes that are mostly good and I enjoy them. I only watch shows that are recorded so I can fast forward through the stupidity. Sometimes I fast forward through the whole show.

He could do something a little different to freshen it up. You can only do so many cudas, challengers, chargers and other B bodies before it becomes all the same.

Even with all the stupidity, it is still the only real Mopar show we have, so I guess I will still watch.

He did say that the reason he didn't restore any "A" bodies was because they lack the value, he went on to say that it would cost more to fix these cars than what they are worth. I think that he's only done 3 or 4 A bodies. I quit watching his show long ago as it's to much drama for me

How does 1 gauge too much drama or a good valuation for these cars that's never owned 1 or wrenched on 1? In a world where you can identify as anything, he probably identifies as an A body owner in training we keep trying to take the wheels off.. but the bike immediately wobbles down.

He's the one who said that the value wasn't there for the "A" bodies. I've worked on many a car and have owned several mopars over the years. Drama, you mean that you can't see it in his show

If you think ANYTHING on ANY reality show isn't scripted and fake, I've got a bridge for sale you should look at.

I can't believe anyone watches that drivel on a regular basis.

99% of Mark's "knowledge" you can find by typing the thing you wanted to know into Google. Heck half the time it would probably take you here or an E-body forum.

Even when they cover some actual mechanical stuff it's just at a trivial level, the kind of level that someone that had somebody else build their car likes to tell you at the local car show but doesn't actually include what you'd need to know to do the work yourself. Whole thing is all "show" and no "go".

Hell the best parts are the news breaks where cheesesteak man cuts in and Mark acts like it's a surprise.. Like mark doesn't edit him in there

Brings to mind the old saying 'no one cares how much you know untill they know how much you care'

Don’t worry, MotorTrend has canceled all the car shows except for the ones that are under contract.

I think the problem with Graveyard Cars is they essentially just restore B and E bodies back to stock specs. The show has been on for a long time and there's only so many B and E body combinations you can do. It got repetitive years ago, even without Mark's antics. They had a few different builds and some customizations but 95% of the show was the same thing over and over again. It's no surprise that it jumped the shark a few years in with all the goofiness.

Either way with the Motortrend cancellations, nearly all of our car shows are going by the wayside. Sucks because I really enjoyed a few of them.

The only one to get a new season is road worthy rescue

*buzzer sounds*

wrong again dan-o

roadkill has their final season to air as well.

a bunch of shows that were cancelled were in the midst of production, a lot of those will air early 2025. likely that a bunch of the other (less popular) stuff will be shelved and then air whenever Hearst spins up whatever the "new motortrend" is.

i'm *guessing* it'll all port over to something streaming with ads like Pluto

anyway, thanks for playing danimal! your parting gift is... nothing. enjoy!

I liked the first year when they would restore a mangled wreck that nobody in their right mind would tackle.
It took a bunch of talent to resurrect some of them cars.
Mark, well, no comment.

The only time I ever watched more than a few minutes of that show was when they did the A-body Barracuda. And most of that was fast forward.

Only show of that type I care to watch that is *mostly* drama free is Bitchin Rides. Lots of cool cars and cool tech. You can tell the guys actually like and respect one another, seems like it would be a cool place to work.

I do like the Roadkill stuff and the Engine Masters series. Like the personalities of Freiburger, Dulcich and Brule.

Almost everything else is drivel. Hosts with inflated egos.
