I am going to make my own engine wire harness. (Yes I am crazy) Anyways I was wondering where I can get firewall connectors. I want to use the factory style but i dont think i can get those connectors anymore. However i am not opposed to using an upgraded connector.:read2:

I replaced the wiring harness from the block(firewall)on my 66 Dart.I got on this site for $20.I think it cost $14 to have it shipped to me.Just a thought!Maybe you could advertise for one?

Bought mine on e-bay store Firestone Collectables (seller mopar9999).

Thanks guys. What do you reccomend for the Alternator (amp meter) wire. It has gotten hot enough to melt the connectoron my car. Any upgrades here??? The previous owner just butt connected it together.

A very small screwdriver for the latching ones. And a reeeeally tiny one for the barbed terminals.

Do away with it all together. I took the connector out, removed the wiring connectors, drilled 3/16 holes through the connector and pushed each wire from the inside out after I reinstalled the connector housing. Looks like original connector without the weak link metal connectors.

Some electrical connetors have keepers so small a shirt pin is needed to release them. A dental pick comes in handy on some too.
