:book: WHATS THE DIFFERINCE BETWEEN A FLYWHEEL AND A FLEXPLATE? I AM REBUILDING A 360/727 FOR MY DUSTER AND BOTH LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME TO ME. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

A flexplate is a 1/8" thick piece of stamped metal that is used to connect a torque convertor to the crankshaft for an automatic transmission. A flywheel is bolted to the crankshaft and connected to the clutch disc and pressure plate of a manual transmission and it is usually made of cast steel about 5/8" thick and weighs anyshere from 15-30 pounds.
