Well, I grew up in PA, but I spent the majority of my adult life living in other states. I spent 8 years in Flirida until the ex-wife got the house there in the divorce and I had to come back to PA to regroup. Well now, I got the urge (call it icy weather related) to move back to Florida, but I need to have a house that has lots of garage space to accomodiate my toys. This was a point of contention with the ex-wife. I was only allowed to take one car to FL and when I bought others it kind of pissed her off.

I can't really afford much, but does anyone know of a house for sale in the middle part of Florida that is mostly garage with a bedroom attached??? Must be under $100 K and I an not too happy about modular homes in an area stricken with hurricanes, but... gotta get what I can get.

Does anyone know of a 10 car garage for sale in Florida with a small house attached? :)

my wife is a real estate agent in the Spring Hill/Brooksville area. She might be able to do a search on the MLS for you, but I know enough that what you want is difficult. Florida houses are on the rise. If you want to you can PM me and I will give my wife your number.

For that money it would be in the boonies or a high crime area. I will keep an eye out in Keystone heights where I live.

Out in the boonies is where you want to be you'll have better luck finding what your looking for, in town or what ever are all the greed restricted gated communities [there in the sticks now too] where you'll never find anything in your price range and if you do the HOAs will give you all kinds of grief about your toys. I can respect your thoughts of modular homes [mobile homes] but if a class 3 to 5 hurricane makes landfall on your doorstep nothing will survive!!! I have lived in this mobile home since 1989 and it's still standing!

Furyus2... sent you an email.

67Cudafb... I know Keystone Heights. I uses to live across the St. Johns River from Green Cove Springs near Orangedale. Nice area.

Lou3500... I can appreciate the being out in the boonies. I don't want a restriced community. If I want to work on my car out in the driveway in front of the house, then I want to do it without a neighbor getting all upset at me. I want to be able to haul a parts car home without the HOA giving me grief about the amount of cars I have. :)

Lots of luck i wish i can move but the Wife dosn't want to move .
I Hate the Northeast the older i get.
