my buddy has a 75 dart sport. complains that his rear window is almost always fogged up. he thought maybe his rear seal is bad, because its the only window that seems to do it everytime and he cant see out of it.

just curious if thats a possibility?

Moisture in the cabin there is a leak find it FAST,in the mean time tell him to crack a window for venting

where would he find rear weatherstripping. he says he thinks thats where the leak is but i cant seem to find rear window weather stripping

Don't know what POs have done to the car. When f/r glass get removed from a car, it's possible to begin the process of delamination.

Usually delamination occurs around the edge of the glass. It is ALWAYS visible. If the fogging is not permanent, it's probably a seal issue as discussed. If it is permanent, it's delamination. Don't know if the average glass shop can relaminate a window. (I'm amazed at what they can do with stone chips.)

If he can whip it away on the inside it is leak somewhere. Dry everything up, let him get inside the car and let someone run a hose over the back glass starting around the lowest points working up until the leak is found. Thats how we find leaks at work (auto glass).

The leak can be fixed with window bed a glaze most of the time if it leaking round the back glass weatherstripping . The key is to kit the glaze under the weatherstripping. It will be messy but after it is cleaned up it will be sealed.
