....my musical Range and my collection ranges from the 1930's into the 40's, 50's 60's and 70's (my era), 80's 90's and into the new century.

The music of the early 50's and earlier is before my time. I was born in 1949, and I really wasn't aware of popular music until about the time of Elvis in the middle 50's, I was about 5 or 6 years old, but my sister was 7 years older than me, I lived the 50's and early 60's music though her, and both of my parents were musically inclined, so I lived the earlier music though them.

My own era started in the early 60's through the musical decline of the late 70's and 80's. My kids started with the 80's and 90 up through the early 2000's. Some of the newer stuff I liked, some I don't.

Besides rap, which I really can't stand. There isn't much that I don't like.

So much for the history lessons....

Rob, post up some more of the "good stuff", while I make another entry at the Metallica thread.

Gotta stand up for what? I made fun of Metallica and got told to leave the thread. I created this thread on purpose, because I knew he would come do what I did there, yet, I welcomed him and his differing opinions, unlike he did me. So what exactly are you standing up for? I got no problem with Metallica specifically. I'm not a metal fan. Never have been. My point in all this is, if someone cannot speak their opinion without someone else telling them get lost, we gotta problem. Metal sucks balls. That's my opinion. I have the right to put it out there. Just like he, you or anyone else has the right to put your opinions here. Oh, and I will say this. If any of you "GUYS" think Julie London shakin and wigglin all over the stage sucks, I got news for you. You might need to check your heterosexuality. Anyway, to get on with what I consider good music. I am like Frankie and the rest of you, I like some of everything so here we go.

Caint have a good music thread without the boys, although in other music threads here, I find unless I post them, they are conspicuously left out.

Eagles, Love 'em!

Allman Bros? Come on. The first time I saw them live was at the Filmore East, in NY. Yeah, the same shows that the Album was made of from. The old band back in the day did a handful of their stuff. Hoochie Coochie Man, Please Call Home, Statesboro Blues, Melissa, and Midnight Rider, as I recall.

Rossington Collins... I always like Don't Stop Me Now, and Gotta Get it Straight, too.

Ok, this has went farther than it needed to. Lets get one thing straight, I never told you to leave the thread. You came off as a dick from the beginning with your "none, they suck" comment. All I was saying is you knew before you opened the thread that you had no interest in the topic, but you just had to say something smart. If you had opened this thread with this music first, I would have looked and moved on without comment. Your right, you can state your opinion as you feel, I know I do ! But you and your shadow Frankie for no reason kept trying to be "funny". I don't know you or your friend, don't have a problem with either of you. But the fact that you started a thread because you thought I would ruin it as you two did mine is stupid. Sure I could post comment after dumb comment, maybe even a few video clips but I wont. carry on ....

Geez. Get over yourself, man. lol

You can post here when ever you like, without any BS. :dontknow:

You might not like what I posted in "your thread", but, I've done nothing, whatsoever to ruin it.
You're letting your zeal and your ego run away with your common sense.
