block * 4340 Scat 383 stroker crank * I-beam rods * Match set of .040 Speed Pro pistons * High volume oil pump * True roller timing set * Comp Cam 525/525 hydraulic cam & lifters * SFI 8" damper * The motor was sonic tested before boring * Line honed * Balanced reciprocating assembly * Balanced crank * Blue printed to the highest standards * Total cubic in is 387 with the extra .010 overbore * Compression with 68cc head & .032 compressed head gasket is 11.2.1 * Smaller cc head & thinner gasket would put this stroker motor right up around the 12.0.1 range * I just got this motor back from the builder on 8/26/09 at the cost of $3,485.65 & it's still on the engine stand bagged * I'm asking $3,500.00 for the short block & will include a new SFI 168 tooth automatic flywheel * New Moroso tall chrome valve covers * Chrome oil pan & timing cover * Complete Fel-pro gasket set.
I do have a new set of 195 Trick Flow aluminum heads - ARP bolts & Gold 1.5 roller rockers - will accept a cam up to 600 lift * We can talk possible package deal.
