Forget Rednecks...

Here is what Jeff Foxworthy has
to say about Canadians:

If your local Dairy Queen is closed from
September through May,
You may live in Canada .

If someone in a Home Depot store
Offers you assistance and they don't work there,
You may live in Canada .

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time,
You may live in Canada .

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation
With someone who dialed a wrong number,
You may live in Canada .

If 'Vacation' means going anywhere
South of Detroit for the weekend,
You may live in Canada .

If you measure distance in hours,
You may live in Canada .

If you know several people
Who have hit a deer more than once,
You may live in Canada .

If you have switched from 'heat' to 'A/C'
In the same day and back again,
You may live in Canada .

If you can drive 90 km/hr through 2 feet of snow
During a raging blizzard without flinching,
You may live in Canada .

If you install security lights on your house and garage,
But leave both unlocked,
You may live in Canada .

If you carry jumper cables in your car
And your wife knows how to use them,
You may live in Canada .

If you design your kid's Halloween costume
To fit over a snowsuit,
You may live in Canada .

If the speed limit on the highway is 80 km --
You're going 95 and everybody is passing you,
You may live in Canada .

If driving is better in the winter
Because the potholes are filled with snow,
You may live in Canada .

If you know all 4 seasons:
Almost winter, winter, still winter,
and road construction,
You may live in Canada .

If you have more miles
On your snow blower than your car,
You may live in Canada .

If you find -2 degrees 'a little chilly',
You may live in Canada .

If you actually understand these jokes,
and forward them to all
your friends,

you definitely are Canadian and proud to be.

I can relate to all of those except the vacation south of Detroit. And most of them are true. It's -16 here right now and I was just outside having a smoke with no coat on. It wasn't cold. LOL

Thank you that was soo good

It Snowed Like Crazy All Night And Half The Day Then Turned To Rain And Poured The Rest Of Today And Still Raining Right Now. But Wait Its To Snow More Tonight, What A Mess Outside. 4 Inches Of Slush And I Own A Duplex With A Large Parking Lot. How To Get It Cleaned. Snow blower Will Not Be Able To Pick It Up. Plow Will Not Be Able To Move It Around Do To The Driveway And All Fenced In. I Hate Winter. But Ha Its Not Cold Out Yet.

Mikes not in Vancouver , he's actually listed as being on the Island but currently in the patch- Alberta I believe

P.S. it currently is -2 here on the Island , at least down here in Victoria where I'm at , he's from north of here where it's a few degrees colder and some places already have the white stuff

As a former Ontarian I have 2 phrases I know your intimately familiar with
Snow Shovel
Elbow Grease
sorry buddy I still remember real winter

Yes, sorry guys, I am about an hour and a half north of Fort McMurray right now, working in the Albian Sands. I wish on the island again.

I'll trade with you , the weather is going down hill fast and the work { or lack there off } is in the tank ,I'd rather be cold and earning than cold wet and spending my savings eh!

After the summer here in Manitoba I am happy at minus 25 no snow and no rain and NO skeeters!!! Oh and two weeks of at christmas!!

I can relate to all of those except for the wife doesn't know how to use booster cables....I see no mention of block heaters for your car, another Canadian wintertime staple that goes well with the annual shopping for a new window scraper/snow brush lol.
