so i got a 383 and a 727 the other day. after i pulled the transmission from the engine i was checking it out and found a snap ring broken in half laying in the bellhousing under the torque converter. its fairly small. both halfs were in there next to each other but i lost one half.
i have zero experience with 727's so i have no idea if it came from the tranny or TC or was somehow dropped inside at some point. in the pic theres half of the snap ring setting next to a penny for size comparison.
if u have any idead where it may have come from please let me know. thanks!
