OMG had forgotten about this till I ran across it again. Its an old T-shirt design I did created in Photoshop back in 2006. I remember fussing over the background a long time I created the bg behind the trees as a gradient and took me forever to look the way I wanted it to. lol I remember a Mopar friend laughed at my flying Cuda in the trees. Photoshop rocks! My favorite software program. yep have used them all painter, quark, pagemaker, flash, indesign, illustrator, max 3D, and on and on but by far Photoshop is my favorite.

Very cool!!! I wish I knew how to play with photoshop.....if you get bored you can play around with pics of my car :D :glasses7:

I'm just too stupid to figure the Photoshop stuff out . Thats why I learned to draw . Its easier .

Photoshop is nice, even if you know how to draw. That shirt design has a very neon appeal to it. The dash is a nice touch!

I've made 3 shirt designs for the shop I work for that I did with pen, but I go through them on photoshop after they are inked for doing the color layer separations and center sights in the corners, for screen printing.

Photoshop is fantastic for converting photographs into B&W halftones, in the correct LPI (lines per inch) and row degree arrangement controlled, so it looks good on shirt thread count (threads per inch). They can't be close, because it will cause a moiré problem, which is where the thread count and dot count cross up and cause lines or patterns that are unwanted.

Too young to have seen the floating Duster? You know, the Peter Philips painting on the cover of The Cars Heartbeat City. Or how 'bout the beginning of the movie Heavy Metal, not a mopar I know, but a neat scene from what I remember. :)

anyone can learn Photoshop. its the most amazing program and there are sometimes many different ways to do the same thing in this program. You have to just get it and experiment with it and have fun.

I can draw, shown at galleries etc, have done portraits for ever and ever and ever made quite a bit of money doing them. Also car portraits as well. I even painted signs on buildings, and 4x8ft signs for businesses. I had a contract with a realtor and did all his signs. The first sign I did was for a video store they had seen my portraits advertised in a local business and I had rented videos from them before so they approached me to paint a large complicated sign which was a roll of film with lots of text on it for their business. They were happy with it and then had me paint this on their doors of their jeep. I was up all night with a drop light but they were very happy when they saw it. From that I had people contact me to do signs on a constant basis. I never in a million years thought I would paint signs lol but you never know what will be thrown at ya in life. Never say cant or your stupid and cant you have to be a can do person. Anyone can do anything they desire in life if they work hard and put their minds to it.

I will draw something and scan it and if I want to can enhance it with Photoshop. Get a tablet its awesome to have. I had one but it wont work with the last two windows versions. didn't update to another one because was in the middle of nurse school.

The worst thing about Photoshop is I can not afford to keep upgrading to the newest version. its totally ridiculous the price!!! But I can do what I want with an older version and can create most the effects as the new version it just takes a little more effort.

The computer is just a tool. I am not just a graphic designer as some are. I am an artist who uses the computer and software as a tool to enhance creativity. The sad thing that happened to design once the computer came out was that non artists graphic people who were not artists but just could use a computer and learned the software, were slapping together crap with no thought of design quality. Its still being done today. Someone we know put up a sign actually created it. OMG!! its horrible no consideration for balance or text spacing or quality. It looks like ... just bad very bad! But its a sign text on a board but its very poor design.

I am working at the moment on a giant wall mural in our house. its the length of the entire hallway wall. its a mermaid mural that I designed on paper then on the computer. I was basically doing it in a painterly style with brush but I find yes I do need to pull out the airbrush to get the effects I desire in this one piece. I only get to work on it in my spare time and I don't have a lot of spare time so its been slow going but its moving along even at a snails pace. :blob:

BTW lol I was doing all this before I was 18 Photoshop came much much later.
