frame connector question

71 a body 340 4speed. The car has old school Moroso bolt in connectors. Looks like 1.5 x 2 in or so. What would be wrong with just welding these in, they fit well and dont live below the frame sections at all. I am going to put floors in the car and at some point put it on a rotisserie. I thought it would be a good idea to weld these in before all of that to improve the ridgidity. The car will be a streeter with mild build 340.
Anybody see a problem with this?
 
Do it!! I can't imagine not welding them in. Should have been done when they were put in.
 
Yes weld them in, made a difference i found! I also weld some of the seams below on the car.
 
Maybe I asked the wrong way. I realize welding is better. Do you think they are sufficient? Is there anything wrong with these particular connectors IE to wimpy and a waste of time? Just seams an easy route to take, that will serve my purpose.
