I decided to remove my front bumper last weekend to see if the car would transfer weight better...I was shocked at how much the car picked up! The front bumper with brackets weighed 30.6 pounds and the car picked up 5 hundredths in the 60 foot (1.57 to 1.52), and a tenth in the 1/4 mile! Not to bad for 30 lbs. Just thought I'd share.

New times are in the sig.

thats great flyfish I ve tossed the idea of a glass front end on my 70 duster just didnt think it would do my old slow car any good, but I do plan to put a glass hood with a six pack scoop on soon...8)

I swiss cheesed the bumper brackets, installed fiberglass front bumper and moved the battery to the trunk on my 73 duster, the car launches strait now and traction is there...before It would boil the tires off with no problem now a simple rollout and she's .........................gone!!!! cant wait to get it to the track...front bumper is quite a chunk on a 73 duster...

Just a set of competition engineering 90/10 drag shocks.

Your launch looks great . What t bars do you run. Thanks

Stock t bars. Nothing fancy. I think I will have to pick up a fiberglass bumper this winter...The car looks ok without, but I like the look better with a bumper.
