Front hood to radiator support seal?

Hey everyone did the hood to radiator support seal come factory on all the a bodies. Because when i bought my 71 demon it only had the one going from the rear of the hood to the cowl. Pervious owner may have removed it. also if possible does anyone have a picture of it installed .

Also is it of any significance. I mean does it really help with directing air flow through the radiator instead of letting some air escape between the hood and the rad support. Thanks for the info might order one for my demon
