I just ordered some Hoosier Quick times for the rear of my car. Next I need to order front tires. Since they are bias ply do I need to run bias plys up front also ? Hoosier does make a matching front tire but they are pricey at $125ea.

But if its a major risk mixing bias and radials I sappose my life is worth more then the $100 Id save if I bought the radials

sorry to hight jack your post Adam but what size are u lookin at?also whats a safe tire for the front?the smallest u can get away with on the freeway my dad has two front centerlines with 165's on them i was going to use the rims with a 175 tire what do u think of this is it safe or what the rears are going to be 255's BFGs im thinkin the front will be the same make as well !

I went with skinny front runner's for the look. I got the Mickey Sportsmans that are eight ply. My car handles pretty nice actually!

adam, why did you go bias instead of radial :?:

Ive been told these hook really well for a full treaded tire and summit was out of drag radials in the size I wanted.
