fuel filter ?

dumb but must be asked, the end on fuel filter that says IN does that go towards tank or carb? thanks

In goes towards the fuel pump. Think of the way the fuel flows. The fuel goes "in" the filter then to the carb.

I dont think the fuel will flow correctly.

If you put a filter on backwards it will flow the same but, the dirt won't have a very big area to collect in being the inside of the filter is a smaller area than the outside of the filter has the whole canister area. Once you put it on one way and run it don't turn it around, you will flush all of the stuff that collected right out into your fuel system.
