I was just wondering where people put the fuel filter in their lines and also if anyone has used the braided fuel line and their opinion on it and where they used it. I am just trying to get a few ideas for my car.

Thanks

I used -8 braided lines for my fuel lines. One mistake I made was getting the fittings from Summit. They are hard to insert and in my opinion junk. I replaced all fittings with Aeroquip and liked the results. As for filter; use a canister type before the pump and if using an electric pump, before the regulator. I just browsed for a pic and can't find a good one so I'll go snap one and post it later.

Im running 6an braided from my fuel cell in top a russle filter then to the pump. From the pump to the engine compartment I ran 3/8" aluminum line then 6an to the carb.

If I were to do it again I would go with 8an from a stock tank with a sump in to a canister filter, then in to a bigger pump then 8an all the way up front in to a regulator and a 6an line to each fuel bowl.

I used the Summit lines also and had no problems with them. I think they are made by Russel.
