Fuel questions???

ok im running a 69 383 and straight av gas... 100 octane low lead... is it harmfull to my engine or....??? im asking for some advice from you guys if your willing to give it.....

If you're using it because your car pings on pump premium, it shouldn't hurt anything. If you;re not pinging on pump premium, don't waste your money.

waste O'money. Av gas is full of additives your motor doesnt need.

av gas only has hig amounts of lead, plus its cheaper than buying performance fuels....you get all the additives with regular, mid and premium.....

Plus all the anti gelling additives and other things needed to keep the fuel happy at high elevations.

Also AV gas's octane is rated differently then pump gas so even though it says 100oct on the pump its lower then that.

You 383 most likely doesnt need anything more then pump premium. I wouldnt worry about the lack of lead.

ok...my timings ok, and im pinging with premium, i think the fuel or the place im getting it from is crap..
