Fuel sending unit

im updating my fuel system to a eletric fuel pump and new lines, and i was wondering if a fuel sending unit that went in a 69-74 would work in my 65 gas tank, would it fit ect. the reason is because those have the 3/8 outlets rather than the 5/16, and all my lines will be 3/8 now.

Looks like they are the same. Went to Rock Auto and got the same number for 65 and69 Abody barracuda, click on number and get Buyers guide.--F669B It doesn't describe the parts and you can't always go by the picture.

Also went to quanta products,(gas tanks .com), 63-76 A Bodies are the same. Charge more for stainless steel and brass floats.

Summit is stainless, doesn't say about the float, probably plastic and made in china.

Might want to read this. slantsixdan is very helpful, and he gives the replacement part numbers, so save it. Hope this helps.
