Is anyone concerned about plumbing a fuel tank vent? I don't think the vented gas cap method is sufficient. With the pressures being much higher in an EFI motor I decided plumbing a charcoal filter catch can was better than dumping the fumes/condensation straight onto the ground.

Trying to avoid the gas smell when the car sits in the sun or garage. Using a catch-can got it plumbed with stainless lines to vent outside the car. Going to fill up the can with fish tank charcoal when I'm ready for fuel

-Anyway, just curious what guys plan to use or are currently using??

I just used a vented gas cap and it seems to do just fine.

I was curious about this too, my factory filler tube has a small vent tube that branches off it, i was thinking of a small charcoal canister somewhere outta site as well, but no exact plans yet.

I'm using the charcoal canister and NVLD pump that is part of the factory emission system. I'm using the canister from a Durango since it is much smaller than a truck one. I just have to figure out exactly how to mount and plumb everything. I think I can fit the canister somewhere above the axle near the vent line from the tank.

This is my plan as well. I plan on using all emissions for my motor. That way it's easier to get it approved to be street legal. As my 75 requires an air pump to pass emissions, and due to running fuel injection I'll have toake a trip to an inspection station to prove that the car is running just as clean or better than factory 75 emission standards. And that is easier with modern emissions equipment.
