My buddy has a '68 Barracuda that he's going through. His gas tank is shot. I just dropped the tank out of my '73 Duster, and though we haven't looked at them side-by-side, they SEEM like they're the same tank.

He's going to run it home and compare them eventually, but does anyone know if they'll interchange? I know they have a different part number in the YearOne catalog, but I'm wondering if anyone knows the specific differences.

Thanks,
-Brad

From what I recall;
they should interchange but they may be vented different.

BTW this is the Early Abody sub forum, and is normally about 1966 and Older
cars. ;)

The '73 tank will fit the '68 Barracuda. Just plug the extra vent tube on the top of the tank and use all the '68 plumbing and cap.
Thanks, Mark
